League Leadership & Governance

RHAM Youth Football & Cheer is operated by a volunteer leadership team that works together to ensure our programs are safe, well-organized, financially responsible, and aligned with our mission of youth development through football and cheerleading.

Our leadership structure is defined by our bylaws and is intentionally organized into three groups, each with a distinct role and responsibility within the organization.


Board of Directors

The Board of Directors provides overall governance, strategic direction, and oversight for the organization. This group includes the league’s Executive Officers and Directing Officers, who are elected positions.

The Board of Directors is responsible for:

  • Setting organizational policies and long-term goals
  • Financial oversight and budget approval
  • Ensuring compliance with league bylaws, safety standards, and legal requirements
  • Appointing and overseeing managers and key operational roles


Board Managers

Board Managers focus on day-to-day operations and execution of specific functional areas that support our athletes, families, and volunteers.

Managers oversee areas such as equipment, fundraising, concessions, marketing, events, and volunteers. While these roles do not set policy, they play a critical role in ensuring the league operates smoothly throughout the season.


Appointed Positions

Appointed Positions are specialized or supporting roles filled as needed to assist the Board of Directors and Managers. These positions help address specific needs, projects, or operational gaps and may change from year to year based on the needs of the organization.


Together, these groups form a collaborative leadership team dedicated to creating a positive, safe, and well-run experience for all RHAM Youth Football & Cheer athletes and families.
